TriCounty Link Transit Study

The TriCounty Link (TCL) transit system provides fixed, commuter, and on-demand transit services to the rural residents of Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties. TCL is developing a transit study to plan for more efficient, effective, and convenient service for the entire TriCounty Link area, including specific recommendations for the fast-growing Summerville area.
This project is led by the Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments (BCDCOG), which operates TriCounty Link service.

Project Timeline

The project launched in January 2025 and will be completed by May 2026

About Our Draft Recommendations

TriCounty Link (TCL) is exploring a range of ideas to improve mobility across Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester Counties. The ideas described at the following links are concepts for discussion—not recommendations. We’re asking for community feedback to help us understand what matters most before any decisions are made. We are seeking your feedback on how services could change both in the near future (within 3 years) and in the long term (within 10 years).
