TriCounty Link

The Berkeley, Charleston, Dorchester Rural Transportation Management Authority (BCD-RTMA) was created in 1996 as a rural transit service for the residents of the Lowcountry region. In 2007, BCD-RTMA became TriCounty Link, a name given to better describe the services we provide and to promote visibility in the communities we serve. Since being established nearly two decades ago, our system has grown from a single county service to one that has taken on the challenges of serving three counties more effectively.

A better way to travel

We’re proud to offer a seamless transportation network for Tri-County area residents. TriCounty Link helps riders travel from their homes to work, school and other places of business, and transfer between rural and urban transportation systems with the Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) for the price of one fare each way.
